Abstract: This specification covers a gasoline engine driven, four-wheel, four-wheel drive truck, equipped, with an extendible boom fitted with water line and nozzle, water tank and water pump, having a minimum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 28,000 pounds. The vehicle procured under this specification is a commercial item which shall be warranted by the manufacturer as specified in procurement documents. Intended Use: The vehicle covered by this specification is intended for washing insulators on high voltage power lines by means of a high pressure stream of water.
