Abstract: This specification covers gasoline-engine-driven and diesel-engine-driven, carrier-mounted crane-shovels convertible for use as crane, clam-shell, dragline, and pile driver in all sizes and also for use as a shovel and a backhoe in sizes 10T, 20T, and 35T. Intended Use: The crane-shovels, together with front-end operating equipment, are intended for use in handling materials, lifting and transporting loads for short distances, soil stripping, earth-moving, ditch digging, and pile driving.
