Abstract: This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers water-resistant adhesives intended for closure of fiberboard boxes, cartons, and cases. Intended Use: The adhesive covered by this specification, is intended for use by the Government for closing of shipping containers and boxes. It is recommended that this document not to be used to tell a contractor furnishing packaged commodities to the Government what adhesive he shall employ for closing his packages.
