Abstract: This Standard Practice covers in-line, centerguided, internally spring-assisted type check valves made of steel, or other alloys listed in Table 1 of ASME B16.34. These valves, having the feature of limiting fluid flow to one direction only, are intended for use with clean fluids (i.e., fluids that contain no solids).
