Abstract: This standard provides standard reference radiographs and recommended radiographic inspection procedures for partial-penetration weldments in aluminum plate, casting, or forging, 0.5 to 2 inches (in.) (12.70 to 50.80 millimeters (mm)) thick. Intended Use: This standard is intended to demonstrate various types and degrees of discontinuities occurring in partial-penetration aluminum welds and to give instructions concerning radiographic inspection of these types of weldments.
