Abstract: Introduction
This part specifies the MAC Abstract Test Suite (ATS). Further, this part:
• Defines specific terms relevant to the MAC ATS
• Discusses test selection criteria
• Provides naming conventions for ATS Test Groups and Test Cases.
The ATS is the basis for evaluating an implementation's conformance to the MAC procedures defined in Part 402.
This part does not specify how test cases are to be realized or used, nor how test results are to be presented or used.
