description abstractThe scope of this Standard is to define the Electronic Surveillance capabilities to support LAES on the interfaces between an SP and an LEA to assist the LEA in conducting Electronic Surveillance for cdma2000® WLAN-Interworking. This Standard supports LAES for cdma2000® packet data services interworking with a WLAN. This Standard addresses IEEE 802.11 [802.11]. Other types of WLAN air interfaces are for further study. LAES for WLAN networks is outside the scope of this document.
Purpose
The purpose of this Standard is to facilitate an SP's assistance to law enforcement. This Standard defines a method to support Electronic Surveillance for cdma2000® WLANInterworking.
