description abstractThis Standard specifies the structural design and installation of the residential roof mount type photovoltaic power generating system with an output of less than 20 kW (hereafter referred to as the "arrays"), in which the photovoltaic array is mounted on a flat roof or a grade roof.
This Standard shall be applied to the crystal-array system.
This Standard does not apply to the following arrays.
a) Concentrating array and tracking array
b) Sunlight and solar heat hybrid type array
c) Array serving the function as building materials such as roofing materials
d) Array comprised of AC modules
