description abstract	Scope: This Standard specifies a test method for determining the centre distance variation of classical V-belts specified in JIS K 6323, narrow V-belts specified in JIS K 6368, and V-ribbed belts specified in JIS B 1858. NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows. ISO 9608: 1994 V-belts-Uniformity of belts-Test method for determination of centre distance variation (MOD) In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEC Guide 21-1.
