Intended Use: The collapsible grappling hook, covered by this CID (NSN: 2040-01-499-0035), will be used by individuals to enter or exit buildings and structures. It will be used on roofs or windows to provide a safe anchor point for climbing or rappelling. The collapsibility allows it to be stowed and carried easier.
