SSTD-8070-0094-COMPNTS; Bourdon Tube Pressure and Vacuum Gauges for Use in Facility Piping or Tubing Systems SSC - Stennis Space Center PURPOSE
This John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) standard (SSTD) establishes the requirements for bourdon tube type pressure and vacuum gauges that are to be used in facility piping and tubing systems.
NOTE:
This standard applies to all new bourdon tube type pressure and vacuum gauges and to the necessary replacement of such existing gauges. This SSTD does not necessitate replacement of non-conforming gauges considered in good condition just to meet this SSTD's requirements.

SSTD-8070-0009-CONFIG REV C-1; PREPARATION OF FORM SSC-625, CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION (COC) SSC - Stennis Space Center PURPOSE
This John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) Standard (SSTD) establishes the requirements and procedures for completion and submittal of Certificate of Completion (COC), Form SSC-625, which is required for construction and renovation projects at SSC where any of the following conditions exist:
a. facilities baseline documentation is affected as referenced in SSTD-8070-0001-CONFIG,
b. facility value is increased by $5,000 or more
c. there is new or replacement vendor data, which is required for all jobs including shop work orders
d. project involves changes to breaker panels
APPLICABILITY
a. This SSTD applies to all SSC NASA organizations, resident agencies and contractors in accordance with the applicable requirements of SSTD-8070-0001-CONFIG.
b. This SSTD shall be maintained in accordance with SSTD-8070-0005-CONFIG.
c. Final authority for approval and interpretation of this SSTD resides with the NASA SSC Center Operations Directorate Project Management Division, and Operations and Maintenance Division.

SSTD-8070-0003-CONFIG; PREPARATION OF PROCUREMENT SPECIFICATIONS SSC - Stennis Space Center PURPOSE
This John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) standard (SSTD) covers the instructions to be followed for content and form of technical specifications to be prepared for the procurement of materials or equipment for which no suitable specification exists. The document provides assistance in the preparation of procurement specifications, and a uniform format for the specifications.
APPLICABILITY
Technical requirements for needed materials or equipment shall be prepared and presented to vendors by use of:
a) Material Request Direct Purchase form SSC-21D A Material Request Direct Purchase form SSC-21D shall be used when ordering a standard manufacture's part "off the shelf", a procurement specification is not necessary.
b) Specification Control Drawing (SCD) A procurement specification is not required when a SCD is used.
c) Procurement Specification A procurement specification shall be used if any of the following conditions are met:
1. When ordering engineered equipment, which is defined as any item to be purchased according to special pre-determined design, including items that will be fabricated in shops.
2. When ordering manufacturer's stock items which are to be modified or which require a special or unusual tests be made before acceptance.
3. When ordering a "system" which is made of many different items combined into a unit, such as an instrument panel.
4. When ordering to meet strictly functional requirements. A functional specification states the technical requirements, the required operational and maintenance performance, and provides for the vendor to furnish detailed design. A functional specification is ideal when a non-existing product is to be procured and the vendor is to furnish the detailed design in addition to the end item.

SSTD-8070-0119-MISC REV A; DIG PERMIT STANDARD (FORM SSC-618) SSC - Stennis Space Center PURPOSE
This John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) Standard (SSTD) establishes the requirements and responsibilities for all excavations as defined in Section 5.1.1, specifically as they relate to processing of the Dig Permit (Form SSC-618) which is located on the SSC Electronics Form Index.
APPLICABILITY
This SSTD applies to SSC excavations for renovations, repairs, new construction, exploratory work, or field investigations/studies involving SSC underground utilities and to persons who perform or have responsibility for SSC excavations and utility system configuration control.
