description abstractThe purpose of this publication is to define the common Joint Intelligence, CI, and Security Doctrine that is to be used within the Alliance and through doing so, to promote interoperability. This doctrine together with AJPs 2.1 and 2.2 will form the doctrinal baseline for the teaching of Joint Intelligence, CI and Security in the training establishments of the Alliance and for the development of operational procedures. AJP 2.0 will also serve to inform those nations with whom the Alliance may operate in multinational operations.
This doctrine will further contribute to interoperability by providing a common basis for the identification of operational user needs and for the design and procurement of systems, structures and equipment related to the conduct of Joint Intelligence, CI and Security.
