| description abstract | This specification covers pullers for use in removing and inserting cartridge-type fuses, ¼ inch diameter to 2-½ inches diameter in size, that are used in electrical circuits up to 600 volts. Federal specifications do not include all varieties of the commodity indicated by the title of the specification or which are commercially available, but are intended to cover only those generally used by the Federal Government. Intended Use: The electrical ratings of the fuses to be pulled by the fuse pullers covered by this specification are as follows: Type I: Size 1 - 0-30 ampere, 250 volt. Size 2 - 0-100 ampere, 250 volt, or 0-100 ampere, 600 volt. Size 3 - 100-600 ampere, 250 volt, or 60-400 ampere, 600 volt. Type II: Size 1 - 0-30 ampere, 250 volt. Size 2 - 0-100 ampere, 250 volt, or 0-60 ampere, 600 volt. Size 3 - 110-200 ampere, 250 volt, or 110-200 ampere, 600 volt. | |
