Intended Use: The can openers are intended to open round and oblong standard food cans, and square food cans with corner radii over 1½ inches. The type I, classes 1 and 2 openers and type II openers are used for opening all round cans up to and including No. 10 cans. The type III and type IV openers are used to open all round cans up to and including No. 12 cans. The grade A openers are for general use. The grade B openers are used on ships and in areas where severe corrosive conditions prevail.
