description abstractPractice:
Use near field antenna measurement facilities for determination of far field antenna patterns of large aperture, high frequency antennas (For the purposes of this Guideline, "large aperture, high frequency antennas" are those antennas for which the far field (D2/l) distance exceeds reasonable building size and/or controlled range space. See Technical Rationale in this Guideline.) This guideline supports reliable communications with spacecraft.
