| description abstract | PURPOSE. In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5124.02 (Reference (a)), this instruction: a. Establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for attainment of inter-Service standards for developing, initiating, and maintaining adult behavioral health services in primary care. b. Establishes: (1) BHP staffing requirements and behavioral health models of service delivery for primary care. (2) BHP competency training and clinical and administrative BHP standards required for the delivery of these services in primary care. (3) Service and DoD-level structures for planning and evaluating primary care behavioral health services. | |
