Abstract

This Standard specifies characteristics for hexagon weld nuts with flange, with sizes M5 to M16 (coarse thread) or D = 8 mm to 16 mm (fine pitch thread), of product grade A (hereafter referred to as nuts). Nuts conforming to this Standard are suitable for use with bolts of property classes up to 10.9 according to JIS B 1051. NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows. ISO 21670 : 2014 Fasteners - Hexagon weld nuts with flange (MOD) The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents in the corresponding International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified) and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
