description abstractThis specification covers the requirements for the design and construction of a full-scale, operable mockup of the 21-inch submerged Torpedo Tube, Mark 63, Door and Rear Section, mounted on an adjustable stand.
The operable mockup has been designated as Device 12B1 by the Naval Training Equipment Center for Navy procurement (see 6.2). Intended Use: The training aid will be used in school shop areas for training Torpedomen on Submarine procedures for prefire interconnections for Torpedoes MK 37, 45, and 48, and the SUBROC Weapon.
