description abstractThis specification covers building papers composed predominantly of sulphate pulp fibers. Intended Use: The paper is intended for use in waterproofing, and as a vapor barrier, flashing, or similar protection. The paper is intended for use as a covering over fresh concrete to prevent loss of moisture and induce a more thorough hydration. The paper is intended for use as a covering for thermal insulation for cold piping or tubing prior to lagging. The paper is intended for use in taping insulation joints to limit movement between insulation units due to thermal shrinkage, and reduce splitting failures in built-up roofs, in conformance to methods researched by the National Bureau of Standards and described in NBS Monograph 89.
