description abstractThis test method covers the determination of cracking temperatures of asphalt binders by the means of an Asphalt Binder Cracking Device (ABCD). This device can be used with unaged material or with material aged using T 240 or R 28, or both. The test apparatus is designed for testing a cracking temperature in the range of –60 to +20°C. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this procedure to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use
