description abstractThis Recommendation provides requirements of dynamic frequency selection (DFS) as a mitigation technique to be implemented in wireless access systems (WAS) including radio local area networks (RLANs) for the purpose of facilitating sharing with the radiodetermination service in the 5 GHz band. Annex 1 specifies the detection, operational and response requirements. Other Annexes address the methodologies and provide information which can be used by administrations when conducting sharing studies between radars and WAS including RLANs.
