This Instruction promulgates the Coast Guard's Hazing Policy and provides guidance to ensure that all personnel are aware of their responsibilities to ensure that incidents of hazing do not occur. It defines the actions to be taken if an incident of hazing is observed and it also illustrates the serious adverse impact of hazing on organizational effectiveness.
