DRILLING MACHINE UPRIGHT, FLOOR MOUNTED, BOX COLUMN, ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVEN

Abstract: This specification covers two sizes of box colum drilling machines. The machines shall be electric motor driven, floor mounted, with equipment and accessories as described herein.
The drilling machines covered by this specification shall be of the following sizes (see 6.2):
Intended Use: Drilling machines covered by this specification are intended for use in performing, within the capacity of the machine, all fabrication and maintenance operations normally required by drilling machines in general machine shop practice.
The drilling machines covered by this specification shall be of the following sizes (see 6.2):
Size I (Capacity; 1-½″ diameter hole in cast iron) Size II (Capacity; 3″ diameter hole in cast iron)
