description abstract	This document covers a hood to provide military personnel protection against toxicological agents. The hood is to be used with a protective mask and Coverall, Toxicological Agents Protective: M-3. This is a special purpose Life Support Clothing and Equipment (LSC&E) item. All Government administrative and surveillance procedures applicable to LSC&E items shall be envoked in accordance with the contract or purchase order (see 6.2). Intended Use: The hood is intended for use over the M9A1 Mask and Coverall, Toxicological Agents Protective: M-3. The ensemble provides protection against toxicological agents.
