COAT FRONT - FOR COATS, MUSICIANS

Abstract: This specification covers requirements for coat fronts designed to be used in the manufacture of coats worn by U.S. Marine Corps musicians.
Coat fronts will be of one type and will be furnished in the following classes and sizes (see 6.2).
Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to the Commander (PSE-D), Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA 22134-5010 by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.
Intended Use: Coat fronts covered by this specification are intended to be used in the manufacture of coats for the U.S. Marine Corps Band (except the enlisted man's Blue Dress Coat), the Drum and Bugle Corps and Ceremonial personnel.

Class 1 - For Coat, Man's, Musician's Class 2 - For Coat, Woman's, Dress Blue (Ceremonial) Class 3 - For Coat, Woman's, Full Dress (Musician's) Class 4 - For Jacket, Woman's, Full Dress and Jacket, Woman's Special Full Dress (Musician's)
