description abstractIntroduction
This Part details definitions, methods of measurement and minimum performance requirements of 800 MHz Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) Mobile End System (M-ES) transceivers. These standards assure that a Mobile End System can obtain service in any CDPD system that meets the compatibility requirements of the Mobile Data Base Station (MDBS).
Compatibility, as used in connection with these standards and those of the MDBS, is understood to mean: Any mobile station is able to establish communications in any CDPD system in which it is authorized. Conversely, all CDPD MDBSs are able to establish communications with any M-ES.
