Abstract: This specification defines detailed requirements for the Defense Mapping Agency's (DMA) Harbor, Approach, and Coastal Charts at scales of 1:25,000 and larger (HAC 1). Intended Use: Harbor and Approach and Coastal Charts (HACs) are various scale charts used for plotting ship courses in ocean waters. HACs are produced to support the naval and maritime community.
