Recommended Minimum Performance Standards for cdma2000 Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB) Access Network
Organization:
TIA - Telecommunications Industry Association
Year: 2010
Abstract: This Standard detai ls definitions, methods of measurement, and minimum performance requirements for access networks. This Standard shares the purpose of [1] (and subsequent revisions thereof) by ensuring that an access terminal can obtain service in any system that meets the compatibi lity requirements of [1].
Compatibi lity, as used in connection with this Standard and [1], is understood to mean that any access terminal is able to open data connections in any UMBTM1 system. Conversely, all UMB systems are able to open connections with any access terminal.
Test methods are recommended in this document; however, methods other than those recommended may suffice for the same purpose.
1 Ultra Mobile BroadbandTM and UMBTM are trade and service marks owned by the CDMA Development Group (CDG).
