description abstract	AIM The aim of this agreement is to standardize the method of compiling gazetteers and digital names data files for use by NATO Armed Forces. This interim version (Amendment 2 to Edition 4) is intended to reflect the present method of compiling gazetteer products and should not be used as a guide for the development of gazetteer services. A future edition will address the services issue.
