| description abstract | This specification covers water-repellent lightweight nylon ballistic cloth having a specified minimum ballistic resistance. The cloth shall be of the following classes as specified (see 6.2). Class 1 - Natural Class 2 - Camouflage Green 483 Class 3 - Woodland camouflage pattern Class 4 - (Deleted see 6.13) Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be used in improving this document should be addressed to: U.S. Army Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Natick, MA 01760-5019 by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter. Intended Use: The nylon ballistic cloth is intended for use in the manufacture of body armor, helmets, and armored clothing. | |
