The microphones are noise canceling types suitable for use in noisy areas. - Microphones shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2): Type M124/SIC - Hand held, equipped with 18 inch length of MCOS-5 cable and six pin connector (rep lace- ment for type IC/MPM-3). M125/SIC - Hand held, equipped with 120 inch coil cord and six pin connector (replacement for types IC/MPM-6 and M-114/U). M132/SIC - Hand held, equipped with 120 inch coil cord and six pin connector (replacement for type IC/MPM-4). M131/WIC - Hand held, equipped with 120 inch coil cord and ten pin connector (replacement for type M-106/U). Intended Use: The microphones covered by this specification are intended for use with intercommunication and announcing equipment aboard Naval ships. | |
