Abstract

Scope: This test method covers the procedure to be used in identifying the composition of iron-based alloy steel bars for concrete reinforcement or dowels using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer. The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
