description abstractThis standard establishes a test method to determine the ability of connectors to withstand stress resulting from loads applied to rear accessory hardware such as might be experienced with cables hanging from plugs mated to wall-mounted receptacles.

Loss of contact or shell continuity during or after load application. 
Reduction of shielding effectiveness.
Loss of seal integrity of receptacle at component interface.
Loss of seal integrity at plug/receptacle interface. 
Damaged receptacle mounting device.
