description abstractThis specification establishes the color requirements for interior surfaces of Military aircraft. Intended Use: This specification covers the color schemes for the interior surfaces of Military aircraft. Color scheme no. 1 employs predominantly neutral gray/light green for overhead, sidewalls, consoles, racks and floor. Color scheme no.2 is lighter in reflectance and employs "earth" colors, including colors commonly referred to as cream, beige and dull brown. Color schemes nos. 3 and 4 are more contemporary in nature and both coordinate the console-mounted control panel color as an inherent element of that color scheme. Scheme 3 incorporates a cool combination of pale, medium and darker blue tones while scheme 4 is a warm combinatin of ivory, tan and rich brown tones.
