description abstractThis document covers the general requirements for Transverse Electromagnetic Mode (TEM) Transmission Lines (see 6.4.14) intended for use in airborne systems.
The TEM transmission lines covered by this specification shall consist of the following types and classes (see 6.4.3).
           Type I - Designed for use in the 2.0 - 8.0 GHz range.             Type II - Designed for use in the 2.0 - 16.0 GHz range.


           Class 1  -  Flexible construction.             Class 2  -  Semiflexible construction.             Class 3  -  Rigid construction.


Intended Use: The Transverse Electromagnetic Mode (TEM) transmission lines covered by this document are intended for use with Airborne Electronic Systems and any other system requiring high-reliability low-loss coaxial transmission lines.
