| description abstract | GENERAL The cores covered by this standard are intended for use in the construction of transformers and inductors, They are wound tape cores bonded with a varnish or resin material and cut into sections to facilitate assembly into pre-wound winding assemblies. The surfaces of the cut sections are even and smooth and the parts are maintained as matched parts such that any air gap as the result of core re-assembly will be minimum. | |
