Abstract: This specification covers nickel-aluminum ordered alloy castings intended for heat-resisting and elevated-temperature applications such as heat-resistant alloy structural members, containers, supports, hangers, spacers, and so forth. The alloy for the castings shall be processed by any method and shall undergo heat treatment. The castings shall conform to the required chemical composition for carbon, sulfur, aluminum, chromium, molybdenum, zirconium, boron, silicon, iron, and nickel. Retests of a duplicate specimen shall be allowed if the elongation of any tension test specimen is less than specific requirement.

The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard. 1.2.1 The SI gage length for tension test specimens is in brackets and is considered standard. 1.3 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
