description abstract	Purpose This specification establishes the general requirements for thermostatic switches intend for use in space environments. The purpose of this document and the detail specification (paragraph 3.1) is to specify additional screening inspections (e.g., pre-cap visual, micro-particle inspection, run-in testing, vibration, PIND, 100% Group A inspections) which are not required by the MIL-PRF-24236 specification.
