TRUCKS, HAND, TWO—WHEELED

Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for five types of two— wheeled hand trucks.Intended Use: Type 1. The type I hand trucks are intended to be used to carry standard 55—gallon drums over short distances in warehouses and on paved surfaces. Type II. The type II hand trucks are intended to be used for transporting pressurized gas cylinders for medical or industrial use. Type III. The type III hand trucks are intended to be used for handling and positioning material within transporting aircraft, on transporter truck, at support base railhead, on support base receiving dock, and on warehouse wood or concrete floors. Type V. The type V hand trucks are intended to be used for transporting oxygen and acetylene cylinders, and welding accessories. Type VI. The type VI hand trucks are intended to be used for carrying various loads over short distances in warehouses, on paved surfaces, and up and down stairs of buildings.
