WAX EMULSION (RUST INHIBITING)

Abstract: This specification covers a type of wax emulsion suitable for use as a rust inhibiting coating for general weatherproofing when applied to articles (see 6.1). Intended Use: The rust inhibiting wax emulsion covered by this specification is military unique. It is used as a combination preservative and rust inhibitor on cartridge cases for major caliber artillery.
