description abstractThis standard applies to primary tableside user controls (interfaces) for Interventional monoplane X-Ray Equipment with a C-arm and an interventional table with a floating table top.
This standard defines the primary user control functions for the subject equipment and defines the method of control for the commonly used control devices for these functions.
This standard does not intend to define the use of control devices (e.g., joystick) for specific functions (e.g., beam limiting). Rather, this standard suggests that if the listed control devices are used they should operate (or be configurable to operate) in the way defined in this standard. For example: if a joystick is used to control the collimator, its "up" movement should result in the "horizontal widening" of the collimator on all brands of equipment.
