description abstractThis specification covers two types of primer coatings. The primers are compatible with aliphatic polyurethane and enamel topcoats and have reduced volatile organic compound (VOC) content.
The primer coating shall be of the following types and classes as specified:
Type I - Non-water reducible
Type II - Water reducible
Class A - 340 VOC grams per liter maximum
Class B - 250 VOC grams per liter maximum
The components of the primer kit may be single component or multicomponent. The kit shall be furnished in the following sizes as specified:
QT = 1 quart
GL = 1 gallon
