description abstract	GENERAL Most Sections in this revision of ASME PTC 19.1-2005 [1] are rewritten to both add to the available technology for uncertainty analysis and to make it easier for the practicing engineer. Throughout, the intent is to provide a Code that can be utilized easily by engineers and scientists whose interests are the objective assessment of measured-parameter data quality, using test uncertainty analysis.
