description abstract	This document outlines the requirements for the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of the Impulse Cartridge, CCU-167/B and the verification methods upon which product acceptance will be based.Intended Use: The CCU-167/B, impulse cartridge is used to actuate a helicopter-rescue hoist cable cutter (MSA Part No. TA 97116 or 97999, or equal) to jettison a load in an emergency. Since the impulse cartridge was developed for use on military helicopters application. This impulse cartridge was designed for military use and has no commercial applications.
