description abstractThe objective of this report is to give recommendations on the construction and characteristics required for V(λ )-corrected detectors used as standards for transfer and maintenance of the units of illuminance and luminous intensity. This report also describes how to minimize or correct for possible errors in the related photometric measurements. The recommendation given in this report will not include the additional requirements for realization of photometric units in the national laboratories. This document describes only photometers for photopic vision. For using non-photopic photometers, similar concepts and parameters may apply.
