| description abstract | This drawing describes the requirements for a surface mounted, fixed power type, wirewound and low value shunt wire resistor. Resistance values above 0.1 ohm consist of a wire wound type construction using a supportive ceramic core that requires a metal cap for the core ends. For 0.1 ohm and lower the resistance material supports itself and a capped core is not used.Intended Use: Chip resistors are intended to be used in thick or thin film circuits where microcircuity is intended, also, for use in surface mounting application. | |
