| description abstract | This document establishes the fracture control plan for certification of the UF-4 deployment hardware Flight Support Equipment (FSE). A top-level description of this hardware is provided in Appendix A, and the planned fracture control disposition of the hardware is tabulated in Appendix B. All activities influencing fracture control of the FSE are subject to the requirements of this document. These activities include, but are not limited to: design; analysis; testing; materials selection; purchase and storage; fabrication process control; quality assurance tests and nondestructive evaluation; and operations and maintenance. The requirements are specifically applicable to Payload Carriers in-house activities and to all related subcontractor efforts. | |
