description abstract	This specification covers one type of shutter time indicator, designated Test Sets, Shutter Speed (Camera TS-703()/UF), designed for testing the performance of both between the lens, and focal plane camera shutters, by use of a cathode ray tube screen in which the phenomenon produced by the shutter shall be visually observed. Intended Use: The Test Sets, Shutter Speed (Camera TS-703( )/UF) are intended for use in testing shutters mounted in cameras as well as unmounted shutters, solenold type and mechanical type shutter synchronizers and the opening time of shutters of motion picture cameras or projectors. This equipment is also used to measure the duration of light output of flash lamps and of electronic flash tubes.
