| description abstract | This specification covers the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of the MK 33 MOD 0 Explosive Actuated Cutter. Intended Use: The cutter is an underwater component used by a diver for ballistically severing a one inch diameter plow steel wire rope (cable) under seawater at a pressure of 28 psig. This cutter is used for special military underwater operations (i.e., by the SEALS). There is no commercial application for this design. | |
