description abstractThis guide provides historical information for three classes of utility connectors, manual, robotic, and automated for use on aircraft and space vehicles. Applications include ground and on-orbit servicing of spacecraft, satellites, platforms, and space stations. The document may also be useful for non-serviceable spacecraft, especially during design, test, and pre-launch checkout stages. Intended Use: This guide should be used by spacecraft contractors, project managers, interface designers, system engineers, and space operations personnel. It is recommended that the interface designs set forth in this guide be used by all agencies, domestic and international, when specifying and developing spacecraft utility connectors.
